Custom Apparel Services for Seattle Businesses

Northwest Custom Apparel runs two core decoration methods for Seattle orders: embroidery and screen printing. Both happen at our Milton facility, and both come with a 8-piece minimum for embroidery and a 48–piece minimum for screen printing.

We also offer DTG and DTF printing for smaller runs or full-color designs that embroidery and screen printing can’t handle well. These methods work as options, not the main focus of this page. Full details live on our custom embroidery services and custom screen printing pages.

Custom Embroidery for Seattle Workwear and Uniforms

Embroidery stitches your logo directly into the fabric. It holds up on jackets, polos, caps and heavy workwear that gets washed weekly. Our Tajima TMAR-KC 8-head machines run at 1,100 RPM on garments and 1,000 RPM on caps, with 15 needles per head.

Screen Printing for Shirts, Teams and Events

Screen printing lays ink onto fabric, which makes it a strong fit for bulk t-shirts, event shirts and team gear. Our screen printing is ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 certified for Hi-Vis apparel when paired with compliant garments and reflective striping.

Direct-to-Garment & DTF for Local Creatives

Our advanced DTG and DTF technology allows for photographic detail and vibrant colors without the high setup costs of traditional printing. It’s the perfect solution for limited-run Seattle-themed merchandise.

Custom Artwork & Digitizing

Our in-house artists, including specialists like Steve, convert your ideas into print-ready files and professional embroidery formats.

Exceptional prices and great customer service. My work had us come in here to try on some jackets and hats. Noticed they make embroided patches too! Very nice quality products

We have used Northwest Customs for 2-3 years now at Special Services Landscaping for hats, hoodies and uniforms. We have used the embroidery and the heat press and both have lasted and are stuff we still use today. Great company couldn’t recommend more.

Unacceptable service and zero accountability. From one small business to another. We are incredibly disappointed with our experience here. I placed a large order worth over $1,200.00 for custom gear. This company already had our official logo and color specifications on hand, so there was absolutely no reason for this mistake. Despite having the correct assets, they completely messed up the final product. When they dropped us the product our Rep even stated... Oh this is wrong, don't worry you don't have to pay for the stitching. We asked what about our damaged gear? She said there is nothing they can do. So when we reached out to resolve the issue, management refused to take responsibility and flatly stated there was "nothing they could do." It is completely wrong that they ruined our gear and our hard-earned money for a botched order and then offer zero solutions. Save your money and take your business elsewhere. They obviously do not stand behind their work and have zero regard for customer service.

We use NW custom for our program, their embroidery done in-house is very well done, identical to the proof of concept. The response time is great when making adjustments to the e-store or when working through third parties for patches. I’d recommend them for any size program!

Why Seattle Businesses Work with Northwest Custom Apparel

We’ve run this business from the same Milton, WA location since 1977. Family-owned, in-house production, no outsourcing.

Deadlines matter on a jobsite. Our on-time delivery rate across 125,000-plus completed projects sits at 99.8%.

You see and approve a real proof before we print or stitch a single piece. That step catches problems before they cost you time or money.

Crews change. We keep your logo file and garment specs on file, so reordering for a new hire or a worn-out jacket takes a phone call, not a new design process.
